IL International’s approach will utilize high performing team principles and approaches in the training. We will be able to do this with much confidence since the members of the IL Training Team are advocates and active practitioners of these approaches in their various involvements both in the private and public sectors. The approach will be characterized by powerful learning tools and frameworks such as:.
- Integrative Learning An instructional design and delivery approach that will have participants fully engaged in practical and breakthrough learning that sticks. This is a holistic approach of engaging the body, mind, heart, and the spirit of participants.
- Transformational Model: See-Be-Do-Have Participants are led to discover possibilities (See), establish the will and find the way to go beyond their limits (Be), learn and practice the necessary skills (Do), until they achieve their intended results (Have). This means that participants will gain the ability to adapt to changing environments, embrace paradigm shifts, create radical breakthroughs in productivity and at the same time achieve fun and fulfilment in the workplace.
- Multiple Intelligences A synergy in theory and practice will create a learning environment that activates the multiple intelligences of the participants. (Linguistic, Logic-Math, Visual-Spatial, Naturalist, Musical, Body-Kinesthetic, Inter-Personal, Intra-Personal). Various intelligences will be tapped in order for participants to acknowledge their strengths and talents, which they will contribute to the team. This therefore creates an opportunity for the team to maximize the individual talents and in so doing, achieve the next step in being a high performing team.
- Rapid Learning The method of instruction is fast-paced yet easily absorbed by learners. The program design and delivery will be fashioned in a way that it suits the different learning styles of the participants. This methodology was taken up by Carnegie Foundation, as mentioned in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrative_learning, and is now being used in 200+ colleges and universities in the US.
- Large Group Intervention In the Handbook of the Organization Development, LGIs are defined as essentially collaborative inquiries into organizational systems, practices, and processes that are designed to create alignment around strategic direction and system-wide issues (Cummings: 2007). IL International has been utilizing this intervention in its work with companies and agencies both in the private and public sector in order to wield organizational change efforts such as organization redesign, restructuring, strategic planning, visioning, values and principles clarification, global learning and development, and formation of collaborative alliances.
- Multimedia Majority of human senses will be employed in the seminar, making it a truly multimedia experience through games, movie clips, song, and dance. IL International programs involve any combination of two or more of the following elements: text, image, sound, speech, and video in order to get an idea across in a fun and interactive way. The IL multimedia experience enhances the information for better communication and understanding.
- Measure Driven The project implementation will have the appropriate metrics and indicators of outcomes and performance. Clarity of targets with regard to measures like KRA, ROI, KVA, cost, and productivity gains are discussed prior to the start of any intervention.
- Sustainable IL believes that unsustainable development programs have been the downfall of many organizations. Sound strategies are useless unless they can be implemented over the long term. This seminar will present a practical and transferable technology that is based on sound theory and research.
- Culture and Gender Sensitive The seminar will entail a balance between IQ and EQ (Emotional Intelligence). The content of the seminar ensures that there will be a multi-cultural respect for diversity, equality, and a change process that is empowering without guilt and blame is critical for success.
- Comprehensive While other programs offer only short term, patch work solutions, IL's expertise in various disciplines makes sure that all bases in GSIS are covered in the organization’s roadmap to success. In the course of the seminar, much emphasis will be given to shifting of mindset and system change in the “heart-mind-body” of the organization. At the same time, focus is given to achieving bottom line results and long term culture change.
